Intro

Ok, this page will end up mega-big! I already have my desk filled with 13 books all in some towering piles. They will all eventually be added to the Books Section, but gradually, and i mean gradually. But they will all be previewed in here first for now. So (if you need them) get your glasses and get a-reading!

Twilight, By Stephenie Meyer

I'd Never Given Much Thought To How I Would Die- though i'd had reason to in the last few months- but even if i had, i would not have imagined it like this.

I stared without breathing across the long room, into the dark eyes of the hunter, and he looked pleasantly ack at me. Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone i loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.

I knew that if i'd never gone to Forks, i woildn't be facing death now. But terrified as i was, i couldn't bring myself to regret the decision. When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end.

The hunter smilied in a friendly way as he sauntered forward to kill me.

An extraordinary book. A romantic horror. Please read it if you haven't already! You'll deeply regret it if you don't.

New Moon, By Stephenie Meyer

I Felt Like I Was Trapped In One Of Those Terrifying nightmares, the one where you have to run, run till your lungs burst, but you can't make your body move fast enough. My legs seemed to move slower and slower as i fought my way through the callous crowd, but the hands on the huge clock tower didn't slow. With relentless, uncaring force, they turned inexorably toward the end- the end of everything.

The sequel to Twilight, also amazing! A bit chunkier but i'm not complaining!

Dragon Keeper, By Carole Wilkinson

In the lamplight, the slave girl could see the yellow-eyed dragon sitting on it's haunches. It's head was raised to the roof of the pit as it howled. The other dragon hadn't moved. Master Lan prodded it with his bamboo stick, but it still didn't stir.

"It's dead" he said.

A very good read for younger kids from the age of 10-12. The third and final book was out earlier this month. I remember reading the first one when i was around 9. I enjoyed very much and for the sake of it read the third one this year four years on! (That just proves how good they are. And yes despite my age, i hate to say it, but i cried! (Only slightly!))

Skulduggery Pleasant, By Derek Landy

Skulduggery put his gun away and walked out to the hall. He peered out into the night. Satisfied that there were no human fireballs lurking anywhere nearby, he came back inside and picked the door off the ground, grunting with the effort. He manoevured it back to where it belonged, leaving it leaning in the doorway, then he shrugged and came back into the living room, where Stephanie as still standing and staring.

"Sorry about the door," he said.

Stephanie stared.

A comedic adventure book! For kids to adults! Say ages 12-15! But i know plenty of people over 15 who love Skulduggery Pleasant just as much as i do!

The Joshua Files: Invisible City, By MG Harris

"Slow down!"

"Are you crazy? They're shooting at us!"

Another shot rings out. This one hits the car, somewhere in the trunk. We both yell, then duck. More shots follow. I'm flooded with electric panic.

Enjoyed that? Want to read more? Buy the book!

A very good book i read a little while ago now, but am momentarily re-reading cause now i'ts released so buy it!

Percy Jackson: And The Lightning Thief, By Rick Riordan

I turned and jumped. My clothes on fire, poison coursing through my veins, i plummeted towards the river.

The first in a series of five, (Fourth (Battle Of The Labyrinth is released in May). All very good books, by American author Rick Riordan. Adventure/Humor.

Percy Jackson: And The Sea Of Monsters, By Rick Riordan

I turned and saw a rhino-size thing moving through the shadows of the trees. It was hissing, it's front half writing in all different directions. I couldn't understand what i was seeing at first. Then i realized the thing had multiple necks - at least seven, each topped with a reptilian head. It's skin was leathery, and under each neck it wore a plastic bib that read: "I'm A Monster Doughnut Kid!"

Just as humorous as the first and still full of adventure!
