Vegetarianism...
Well, you might know but if you don't well i'm vegetarian. Have been for around four years, and i haven't given up since. I find it easier and i prefer it much more to when i used to eat meat. But someone i know, hates me for being Veggie, and recently sent me a link...Just a quick warning, it's not gonna be great fun for veggies to read...HERE
I think it's insensetive and childish. In a way, although it's not, i find it metaphorically racist. I don't mind people eating meat, it's their decision, but someone being horrible because someone is vegetarian, well theres no excuse. It's not right to do that and they have no right to do that. If it's part of their religion or just because they enjoy meat i don't mind at all it's their life, and i don't see how me being vegetairan or all the other millions of veggies could offend someone by simply not eating meat. But one of the worst things is, when meat eaters say, "Animals eat other animals." My response is, they don't have a choice. Lions can't eat grass or fruit, they can't live off it. Kangaroos can't eat meat. Some animals are built for it, others aren't. Some animals do eat both plants and meat, but then we humans have many other foods, more than plants and meat. We have more choice, which i think makes it even harder being Veggie, let alone someone insult you forever for not eating meat. Sometimes i am also told to "Eat the chicken." Well my response, "I would rather be the chicken." And that's the honest truth. I would rather die. And recently when i was told "If a cheetah tries to eat your arm, put your arm further down it's throat and choke it." I would rather let it eat me. That's how strongly i feel about it, and that's how i offended i am by that webpage.
